27.02.23 NEWS ... The Estonian Athletic Association (EJKL) says it has received new allegations regarding the behavior of coach Mehis Viru. Earlier this month, Viru, who has coached many of Estonia's top young sporting stars, was handed a ban from athletics coaching for an indefinite period for violating professional codes of conduct.
17.02.23 NEWS ... Top Estonian high jumper Karmen Bruus has announced, that she will not take part in this weekend's Estonian Winter Championships. Bruus, whose coach Mehis Viru received an indefinite ban from athletics this week, said she does not have the strength or motivation to compete in Tallinn this weekend.
