Estonian Lutheran church received nearly €3 million in donations in 2016

The Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church (EELK) received a total of nearly €3 million in collections and donations last year.
The EELK recorded earnings by means of collections and donations from its congregations totaling €2,024,400; an additional €733,100 was received in foreign donations.
Church congregations received a total of €1,582,900 in project and operational support from the Estonian state and local governments.
€3,025,140 was spent on the maintenance of properties owned by congregations, including primarily historical objects under heritage conservation status.
A total of 785,000 people participated in EELK services last year.
