Finance minister: Consider listing Eesti Energia's minority holding

According to Estonia's Minister of Finance Sven Sester, who is also the owner's representative, in addition to listing the renewable energy unit of the state-owned Eesti Energia, the listing of minority holdings of other subsidiaries or the entire company should be considered as well.
"The current government has agreed on 49 percent of Enefit Taastuvenergia being listed; preparations are already underway," Sester said on Monday in response to interpellations from MPs.
"I find that utilizing private capital in another subsidiary of Eesti Energia or the whole group is actually worth considering," the minister said, adding that this would understandably imply that at least the government coalition parties should agree on this.
Sester has previously said that he does not rule out listing Elering's minority holding.
