Estonia's GDP growth well above EU average in fourth quarter of 2016

According to a Eurostat news release, Estonia saw the highest GDP growth, 1.9 percent, compared to the previous quarter among EU member states for whom fourth quarter data was available for 2016.
Poland and Lithuania followed with 1.7-percent and 1.4-percent growth, respectively, compared to the previous quarter.
Estonia's seasonally-adjusted GDP grew 2.8 percent year over year in the fourth quarter of 2016, reported ETV news broadcast "Aktuaalne kaamera."
At the same time, the EU's average GDP growth was 1.9 percent and the eurozone's average growth 1.7 percent on year. The most rapid growth was recorded in Romania, where the GDP grew 4.8 percent on year; a total of eight member states recorded more rapid GDP growth than Estonia.
The GDP declined only in Greece.
